Cinematic stories. Commercial results.
I'm Ben Brown, urban photographer based in New York City, serving clients nationwide
Capturing the energy and character of city life through a unique visual perspective.
My passion for urban photography began in the streets of Brooklyn, where I grew up surrounded by the vibrant tapestry of New York City life. At 16, I saved up for my first DSLR camera and started documenting the city's architecture, street scenes, and diverse communities. Over the years, I've developed a distinctive style that captures the pulse and personality of urban environments, finding beauty in both iconic landmarks and overlooked corners of the city.
Today, I collaborate with magazines, real estate developers, tourism boards, and cultural institutions to create compelling visual narratives of urban spaces. My work has been featured in The New Yorker, Architectural Digest, and various NYC gallery exhibitions. Through my photography, I aim to reveal the soul of the city—its people, structures, and the countless stories unfolding on every street corner.

Liberating. Finally a space where you can create without a ceiling. I walked out with ideas I’d never dare to try in my daily work.
For me it was like stepping into design with no rules but textures, forms, light all colliding. I left inspired, and I’m excited to see how the next sessions will stretch this even further.
It gave me new ways of thinking about formats and workflows. With the AI Lab on the horizon, I know it’s going to flip how I approach speed and creation.
What stood out was the unpredictability, in the best way. You see people stepping out of their roles, surprising themselves. I can’t wait to witness what happens in the Open Labs.
I never expected to be this hands-on. It pushed me to try things far outside my routine. I’m looking forward to diving even deeper in the next ones.
Absolute fuel for storytelling. The Synesthesia Lab especially caught my eye, mixing image and scent feels like the kind of experiment that could open a whole new universe.
It’s raw, messy, and alive. Exactly the kind of space where accidents become great discoveries.
It reminded of why I make films in the first place: curiosity & chaos. It felt like a rehearsal for the future of cinema, and I want to see where it goes next.
Found myself capturing things you ll never see on any shoots: accidents, gestures, atmospheres. Can't wait for the light lab
